Hydroponic growing is one of the easiest and most beautiful ways to grow tropical plants indoors. The visually stunning root growth creates living art, while helping eliminate most soil-related bug issues.

PRODUCT FEATURES

Each G2-PS unit is 3D printed and has its own unique appearance due to slight color variation and texturing. This creates an impressive, luxurious brushed-metal style finish.

The 3D printed crib design removes the need for visible vinyl air lines inside the cylinder. Air now flows through the crib spear and attaches to a removable air stone at the base, creating a sleek, clean look. Cleaning is also much easier.

Before first use, allow the air stone to soak in water for 30 minutes to help achieve optimal bubble distribution. If you do not soak the stone, it may take up to 24 hours for the bubbles to disperse evenly.

The built-in Plant Stand is a game changer for cleaning and maintenance. It protects and cradles your living plant arrangement while you clean the cylinder. Simply lift the stand off the unit and place it in your sink for easy root rinsing and care.

The PlantDaddy HD-603 Air Pump includes an airflow control knob. I personally run my pump 24 hours a day at full volume.

LIGHTING OPTIONS

The only option when ordering your G2-PS Plant Stand System is whether you would like to include the overhead grow light.

We highly recommend the overhead light option because it allows you to grow anywhere, even without natural light.

Your system offers two possible light sources:

1. Base Hydro Light
   The included base-mounted Hydro Light uplights the cylinder and creates a beautiful illuminated root display.
2. Optional Overhead Grow Light
   The overhead grow light extends up to approximately 60 inches in height and includes a flexible end for light adjustment.

Each light has its own in-line controller.

Recommended settings:

• Base light: 12 hours per day, green timer setting
• Overhead grow light: 16 hours per day, red timer setting

The lights will turn on daily at the time they are activated.

To set the timer, push the bottom red button to turn the light on, then use the button with the clock symbol to select the duration.

• Yellow: 8 hours
• Green: 12 hours
• Red: 16 hours

The plus and minus buttons control brightness. You may dim the base light for a softer evening effect. We recommend leaving the overhead grow light at full strength for daily growing.

You only need to reset the timers if power to the unit is interrupted.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTES

Do not place the G2-PS Plant Stand System in direct sunlight or in a high-heat area. Intense heat or direct sun may damage the unit.

We recommend indoor use only.

Do not place the unit on any surface that could be damaged by water. Your unit may create slight vapor overspray onto the surface below. Adding a plant near the overspray area may help contain it.

Always wipe off any excess water from the unit base after filling.

Never use cleaning agents on your G2-PS parts.

GROWING OPTIONS

The G2-PS Plant Stand System offers two ways to grow your hydroponic plants.

1. Plant Crib

The Plant Crib is built into the collar and allows you to create beautiful hydro gardens. Plants are centered and suspended near the top of the basket. You may use multiple small plants or one larger plant to fill the arrangement.

2. Reducer Plates

The reducer plates are great for supporting vertical cane plants. The six smaller holes surrounding the center opening are perfect for adding accent plants. The reducer plates may also be used with the crib if additional support is needed.

Please note: The reducer plates do not lock into place, so use care when creating or cleaning your arrangement.

GLASS CYLINDER

Cylinder size: approximately 6" diameter x 14" height

Please note that all glass cylinders may have minor manufacturing imperfections, including swirls, bubbles, spider cracking, irregular bottoms, scarring, minor scratches, or small chips on the top edges.

These imperfections are considered acceptable due to the manufacturing process. The best part is that they are typically not noticeable once the unit is filled and running.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Water changes and plant cleaning should be done every 2–3 weeks. I do not recommend going longer than 3 weeks between cleanings to prevent cloudy or odoriferous water.

To clean your system:

1. Disconnect the air line from the back of the crib.
2. Lift the Plant Stand off the unit.
3. Place the Plant Stand in your sink for easy maintenance of your plant roots.
4. Rinse the plant roots thoroughly.
5. Use the included soft bristle brush as needed.
6. Clean system parts with tap water only.
7. Do not use cleaning agents on G2-PS parts.

Tap water is fine for cleaning, but not recommended for growing.

Algae should come off easily with the included brush. Be sure to thoroughly rinse your plant before placing it back into the clean, water-filled cylinder.

When cleaning the cylinder, never attempt to carry it while filled with water. Pour the water into a bucket before moving the cylinder.

Wash the cylinder with soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and dry the outside surface.

Place the empty cylinder back on the unit base and fill it with distilled, reverse osmosis, or at the very least filtered water to approximately 3 inches from the top of the cylinder.

Return your freshly rinsed Plant Stand to the cylinder and lock it in place. Then fill the cylinder to the bottom of the collar.

Always wipe off any excess water from the unit base after filling.

Reconnect the air line to the back of the crib.

You may need to add water weekly to maintain the proper water level, which is the bottom of the collar.

FEEDING

We recommend feeding your plants every 6 weeks with the included PlantDaddy Jungle Juice Plant Food.

Use Jungle Juice at half strength:
0.5 ml per gallon of water

Full strength is 1 ml per gallon of water.

Your cylinder holds approximately 1.3 gallons of water.

Do not add extra plant food when topping off the cylinder. Only add more water.

Allow the plants to remain in the plant food solution for 5–7 days, then clean your system as directed above.

Do not begin feeding your plants until they have at least 1 inch of new water roots. This can take 6–12 weeks for some plants.

Only use distilled, reverse osmosis, or filtered water for growing.

PLANT STAND

The proprietary Plant Stand allows you to protect your plant arrangement during root maintenance and cleaning. Place the stand in your sink and rinse your plant thoroughly before returning it to the clean, water-filled cylinder.
