1. Base-Mounted Hydro Light

The base light creates a beautiful uplighting effect through the glass cylinder.

Built-In Timer Modes

Use the clock button on the light’s control pad to set the timer. Press the clock button to cycle through the three daily modes:

• Yellow = 8 hours/day
• Green = 12 hours/day (recommended for most plants)
• Red = 16 hours/day

Brightness Control

Use the + and – buttons to adjust the brightness to your preferred ambiance.

2. Overhead Grow Light (Optional Add-On)

The optional overhead grow light provides full-spectrum illumination above your plant and is ideal for low-light rooms or for plants that benefit from stronger overhead lighting.

Timer Modes

Like the base light, the overhead light uses the clock button to cycle through timer settings:

For best growing performance, we recommend using full brightness.

To keep your Squirt running beautifully and your water clear, follow these simple cleaning steps every 1–2 weeks:

1. Remove Your Plant Crib & Arrangement

• Disconnect the airline from the crib collar.
• Gently lift your plant stand (crib) out of the cylinder with your arrangement intact.

2. Clean the Crib & Air Stone

• Use the included cleaning brush to lightly brush the crib and air stone to remove any algae.
• The air stone is removable for easier cleaning.
• You may gently lay the roots in the palm of your hand and brush lightly to remove algae if needed.

Tip: Tap water is fine for cleaning the plant, but not for growing. Use only distilled, RO, or filtered water inside the cylinder.

3. Rinse the Crib & Plant Thoroughly

Give the entire crib and plant a thorough rinse to remove loose debris, algae, and any sap buildup under the leaves.

4. Clean the Cylinder

• Empty the water from your glass cylinder.
• Clean using tap water and a mild detergent.
• Rinse well and dry.

5. Refill With Fresh Water

Fill your cleaned cylinder with:

• Distilled water (best)
• Reverse Osmosis water
• Filtered water

Fill to about 1 inch below the top.

6. Replace the Crib & Adjust Water Level

• Place your rinsed crib and plant arrangement back into the clean cylinder.
• Fill water up to the bottom of the crib’s collar — this is the ideal level.
• Maintain this water height with occasional top-offs.

7. Reconnect Airline

Reattach the airline firmly into the connection point on the crib collar.

8. Optional: Hydrogen Peroxide Boost

Add 1 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide to help prevent algae growth. It is safe for your plants.

We recommend feeding your plant Plant Daddy Jungle Juice every 6 weeks at half strength for best root and foliage health.

Use your pipette and measure ½ of the 0.125 ml marking.

This equals one drop for the Single Squirt cylinder.

Do not feed more often than every 6 weeks.

After Feeding

• Allow your plant to enjoy the nutrients for 5–7 days.
• After this period, clean your system to remove any algae that has formed.
• An algae bloom almost overnight is totally normal when nutrients are present.
• This is another reason we recommend not feeding more often than every 6 weeks.
• After cleaning, rinse and refill your cylinder with fresh distilled, reverse osmosis, or filtered water.

Important: Overfeeding can stunt your plant’s growth and cause burning in your leaves.

Set Up

Follow these steps to properly assemble and set up your G2-Squirt system.

1. Choose the Right Location

• Place your Squirt in an area away from direct sunlight or high-heat locations — high heat can damage your unit.
• A space with average natural light works well.
• If you purchased the optional Overhead Grow Light, you do not need any natural sunlight at all.
• Ensure access to USB and 110v power sources.
• Always place the unit on a flat, stable, scratch-resistant, and water-safe surface.

2. Installing the Base-Mounted Hydro Light

• Feed the USB plug end and remote down through the center hole in the base.
• Guide the cord through the internal channel on the bottom of the base until it exits out the back.
• Seat the hydro light disc securely into place inside the base.
• The hydro light is USB powered (USB block not included).

3. Assemble the Overhead Grow Light Head (Optional)

• Take the rubber adjustable neck and screw the threaded metal end into the threaded socket on the lens side of the grow light head.
• Thread the top of the light pole into the rubber adjustable neck now attached to the grow light head.
• Adjust the flexible neck to direct your light exactly where you want it.

4. Insert the Overhead Light Pole Into the Base

• Insert the assembled light pole into the pole socket located on the back of the base.
• You may rotate the pole a couple of turns to tether the cord for a cleaner, more finished look.
• The overhead light is USB powered (USB block not included).
• Remove the overhead light whenever you clean or move your system.

5. Routing the Airline Through the Base

• Feed the free end of the airline tubing into the back opening of the base (located below the overhead light pole socket).
• Rotate the tubing gently if needed to help it pass through the hole.
• Pull enough tubing through the base to reach the air input socket located on the plant crib collar.
• Anytime you connect or disconnect the airline, do so at the crib collar.
• After routing, adjust the slack by gently pulling the hose from the back of the base to create a clean, finished look.

6. Adding Plants to the Crib

• This system works best with smaller plants typically in 2–4 inch containers.
• Arrange your plant(s) inside the 3D-printed crib so roots hang freely into the cylinder.
• Do not overcrowd the crib. Ensure good airflow through the foliage and a stable, balanced arrangement.
• Always rinse your crib thoroughly before placing it into your clean cylinder of water.

7. Filling Your Cylinder With Water

• Fill your glass cylinder with distilled water (best), reverse osmosis (RO) water, or filtered water.
• Fill to about 1 inch below the top.
• Once your crib is seated in your cylinder, top off the water until it reaches the bottom of the crib collar.
• Maintain this water height with occasional top-offs.

8. Connecting Air & Power

• Connect the airline firmly into the air input socket on the crib collar.
• Plug in your air pump and verify a steady stream of bubbles.
• Connect your base light and optional overhead grow light to USB power (USB blocks not included).

Tip: We recommend operating the pump at full volume, 24 hours a day. Adjust airflow using the pump’s control knob if needed.

9. Setting Your Light Timers

• Base Light Timer: Green (12 hours/day) recommended.
• Overhead Light Timer (optional): Red (16 hours/day) recommended for strongest indoor growth.
• Once timers are set, the lights will turn on and off automatically at the same time each day.
• Timers reset if unplugged or if power is interrupted.

If your lights have shut off and you’d like to enjoy your lit unit for extended periods, you can toggle the lights back on at any time. Just be sure to return them to the recommended timer settings afterward for proper day-to-day plant growth.

USB power blocks are not included. You will need USB and standard 110v power sources.

Use only Distilled, Reverse Osmosis (RO), or filtered water inside your cylinder for best results.

Avoid placing your Squirt near heat vents, stoves, fireplaces, or direct hot sun, as high heat can damage the unit and stress plants.

Keep cords and tubing positioned safely and away from pets and small children.

Always remove the overhead grow light before cleaning, moving, or transporting the system.
