Our new G2 system is a result of major design improvements.
Crib-our units are 3d printed and each unit has it's own unique finished look. Slight color changes and texturing gives each unit it's own character. The luxurious appearance of a brushed metal finish and the top quality created by the 3d printed plastics is very impressive.
-inner air line integration allows for no inner vinyl air lines to the air stone creating a sleek very simple crib design. This stylish look makes cleanings even easier.
-comes with removable air stone for easy cleanings. Let the air stone soak for 30 minutes in water before use for optimal bubble dispersement. If you do not soak your stone it will not perform with nice small even bubbles until it has saturated the stone with water that will happen within 24hrs and even out the bubbles throughout the stone.
-I run my air pump 24hrs a day at full volume. Make sure your air flow knob on your pump is on the highest setting.
*DO NOT PLACE THE G2 SYSTEM IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT OR IN A HIGH HEAT AREA! Intense heat or direct sun will damage the unit. We only recommend using the unit indoors. Do not place unit on top of any surface that could be damaged by water. Your unit may create slight vapor overspray onto your surface top. This is easy to stop by adding a plant to the area allowing the over spray.
All airlines and back siphon valve are already assembled and in place.

Crib - our units are 3d printed and each unit has it's own unique finished look. Slight color changes and texturing gives each unit it's own character. The luxurious appearance of a brushed metal finish and the top quality created by the 3d printed plastics is very impressive. The crib is built into the collar and allows you to create hydro gardens combining multiple plants together. The crib acts like a basket and holds and supports one larger plant or multiple smaller plants all combined together creating a hydro garden. Always allow for good air flow in your plant arrangement and do not overcrowd the crib. This will cause plant rot.
Pump - I run my air pump 24hrs a day at full volume. Make sure your air flow knob on your pump is on the highest setting (110v). Air lines are preset with siphon valve in place. Connect air line end to the air line connect on the collar.
Reducer plates (Incluced)- The reducer plates are great for supporting vertical cane plants. The 6 smaller holes surrounding the center plant are perfect for adding accent plants. The reducer plates can be used with the crib if additional support is needed. Without the reducer plates, the plants will be centered in the top of the cylinder and suspended. The reducer plates do not lock in place so you must be careful when creating and cleaning your arrangement.
Cylinder - 6in diameter and 14in tall (approx) PLEASE NOTE All glass cylinders will have some of the following imperfections: Swirls, bubbles, spider cracking, irregular bottoms, scarring or minor scratches, small chips on top edge. These imperfections are deemed acceptable due to their manufacturing process. Some or a few are in ALL cylinders. They are not noticeable when the unit is filled and running.
*Cleaning: Water changes and plant cleaning occur every 2-3 weeks. I do not recommend going longer than 3 weeks between cleanings to prevent your water from clouding and odors. Disconnect your air line from the collar and lift the crib and bring to the sink. Holding the air spear with one hand, use the soft bristle brush provided and tap water, to brush off any surface algae from the crib. The air stone is easily removable to make cleaning easier. (tap water is fine for cleanings not growing) Only use tap water when cleaning your plant roots and system parts. Algae comes off your roots by brushing them with the brush. Remove any debris or dead stems or rotted roots. You should have another cylinder or small bucket near by to place your crib into standing it on the plant spear if needed. Be sure to give your plant a thorough rinsing before placing it back into your clean water filled cylinder. Never attempt to carry your cylinder while filled with water. Pour water from cylinder into a bucket before attempting to move or wash your cylinder. Wash cylinder with soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and dry outer surface of cylinder. BE CAREFUL THAT THE RUBBER FEET DO NOT COME OFF THE BOTTOM OF THE CYLINDER. AVOID GETTING THEM WET IF POSSIBLE. REPLACE WHEN NEEDED. Place empty cylinder back into the gro location and fill with distilled, reverse osmosis or at the very least filtered water to approximately 3 inches from the top of the cylinder. Return your freshly rinsed plant back into your cylinder. Now fill your cylinder with water to the bottom of the collar. You may need to add water weekly to your cylinder to maintain the proper water level, which is the bottom of the collar. Always wipe off any excess water after filling.
*Feeding: It is recommended to feed plants every 6 weeks with the Jungle Juice plant food included with your system. We recommend using your plant food at half strength, which is .5ml per gallon of water. (Full strength is 1ml plant food per gallon of water.) Your cylinder holds approximately 1.3 gallons of water. Place the .5ml of plant food into your cylinder and allow the plant to stay in the plant food mixture for 5 to 7 days. After 5 to 7 days, clean your system as directed above. Do not start feeding your plants until they have at least and inch of new water roots. This can take 6 to 12 weeks for some plants.
*Lighting: The base light we recommend running 12 hours per day. The light will come on every day at the time you activated it. Push the red button on the remote to turn the light on and then toggle through the button with the clock on it to select the duration of time. Yellow is for 8 hours, green is for 12 hours (this is the setting I recommend for the base light), and red is for 16 hours. The light will come on daily at the time you select your settings. The buttons with the + and - are for bright or dim settings. You can dim your base light for a nice soft light effect. You only need to reset the timers if the electric is shut off from the unit. USB powered
Measurements - 6in diameter 14.5in tall - weight (not filled with water) 8.5lbs 110v - cord length 5ft
Never use cleaning agents on your G2 parts. Always wipe off excess water from unit after filling with water.
